HydroWet is a concentrated, surface-active dust palliative specially formulated to control dust on secondary and temporary bypass roads. The addition of HydroWet to water helps to reduce the surface tension of water droplets, thus improving the wetting abilities of water. This enables water to penetrate the roadbed, keeping it moist for longer. The presence of moisture in the road bed helps in achieving excellent compaction and a dust free surface.
HydroWet has a cumulative effect in suppressing dust on temporary roads including temporary bypass roads, thus saving on water usage and water cart operating costs. This makes it a far superior non-binder dust palliative compared to when water only is used as a dust abatement solution.
